A raised ranch which had been flooded many times in the Compo beach area, was demolished & replaced with a new FEMA compliant home.

The house & drive were relocated to increase the side yard & give a sense of privacy on a busy intersection.

The owners wanted a warm & friendly house, not too large, nor too formal. The owners love to entertain & cook for their friends, the open floor plan, centering around the kitchen, allows for a warm, congenial, entertaining space. The porch & patio easily become part of this space.

Living at the beach is friendly, casual & allows a joy.
