This1970’s contemporary was on the cusp of midcentury. Houses of that era lacked the deep eaves and overhangs of the 50’s but were in keeping with simple and clean lines. The renovation called for soaring ceilings, a new triangular entry with fieldstone walls, stone floors, new mahogany doors, cedar shingle siding, mahogany trim and broad 4 foot hipped roof overhangs.

The main roof was bumped up to heighten the ceilings & allow for new transoms over the sliding doors. Stainless steel cable railing was installed on all the decks to not block any view.

The house went from midcentury nothing to twenty-first century wow!
