Description

MidCentury modern has many descriptions but the most general is that these homes were built between the late 1940’s to the early 1970’s. They were simple in design & detail. Many were ranch houses since land was abundant and homes could sprawl.

This 1960’s house, typical with contemporary metal sliders and windows also had what was typical, a large living-dining area with a small, isolated kitchen, closed off from the rest of the house.

To bring the house from mid-century to 21st century, walls were removed to open up the entire space. Installing a 9ft folding door to the screened porch makes it the perfect entertaining home for 2020.
